 Since 2007, CEI has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. We at CEI are  dedicated to developing a comprehensive understanding of green building practices and  
incorporating them into the construction process. We currently employ more than 28 
U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professionals.

The Green Business Program recognizes local business that go beyond compliance with environmental protection regulations to adopt environmentally-sound practices in four areas: water conservation, solid and hazardous waste reduction, and pollution prevention. CEI is recognized as a Santa Clara County Green Business by the City of San Jose.

As a way of reaffirming its commitment to being an environmentally responsible business, CEI currently holds an ISO 14001:2004 Certification. Top management at CEI has defined an environmental policy to ensure that the policy:

  • Is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services;
  • Includes a commitment to continual improvement and prevention of pollution;
  • Includes a commitment to comply with applicable legal requirements and with other requirements to which the organization subscribes, which relate to its environmental aspects;
  • Provides the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets;
  • Is documented, implemented and maintained;
  • Is communicated to all persons working for, or on behalf of, the organization; and
  • Is avaialable to the public.
