Long-Term Disability Insurance |
Long-term disability insurance is provided at no cost to all full-time, regular, employees who have completed 90 days of employment.

Long-Term Care Insurance |
Long-term care insurance is also provided at no cost to all full-time, regular, employees who have completed 90 days of employment. The basic care package consists of a $1000 monthly facility benefit for up to a maximum of 3 years. In addition to the basic plan, each eligible employee has the option of buying additional coverage not only for his or her spouse, but also for parents, grandparents, in-laws and spouse’s grandparents.

Profit Sharing/401(K) Plan |
The Cupertino Electric Profit Sharing/401K Plan allows employer contributions and employee contributions for retirement savings through employee deferrals, employer match and discretionary profit-sharing contributions.

Employee Assistance Program |
A confidential and voluntary program offering access to professional counseling and referral services, including employee assistance, legal and financial advice, and elder and child-care resources and referrals. Available by phone (including to persons with speech or hearing impairments) 24 hours every day, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a single resource for helping employees successfully manage work and life issues.
The EAP is offered because Cupertino Electric cares about its employees' well being. The corporation recognizes that unresolved problems can be detrimental to both work performance and the quality of personal life.

Paid Vacation/Sick Leave |
Two weeks paid vacation for each year of service until the employee has completed five years. Then he or she earns three weeks per year.

Training |
Training opportunities are provided through the various classes offered each year by Cupertino Electric and may include technical, job-related courses as well as those that may pertain to the personal well-being of employees and their families.

Tuition Reimbursement |
Job-related education may be paid for by Cupertino Electric after the employee receives the approval of his or her supervisor.
