Description: |
Responsible for developing commercial construction electrical system design drawings for Project Managers under the supervision of a registered Professional Engineer.
|
|
Responsibilities include: |
- Markup of backgrounds for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and controls in accordance with Project Manager's job criteria, CEI standards and applicable electrical codes and regulations.
- Review shop drawings, specifications, and electrical correspondence, visit job sites for field investigations.
- Simple short circuit, voltage drop, load and demand calculations.

Requirements: |
- High School diploma. College degree preferred.
- 2 years design of commercial/office industry.
- Experience in electrical systems design.
- Proficient with AutoCAD software.
- Basic MS Word & Excel.
- Knowledge of National and State electrical codes, local ordinances, Title 24, and ADA regulations.
- Knowledge of Power and Lighting design.
