Location: San Jose, CA

• Preparation of engineered drawings and specifications for the permitting and construction of solar PV systems for commercial rooftops and ground-mounted, fixed tilt and tracking solutions.
• Technical support during the project feasibility and proposal stage.

• 3+ years designing solar PV projects. Commercial experience preferred.
• BS required as minimum, EIT and PE preferred.
• Exceptional industry knowledge of all applicable technologies, as well as substantial knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other applicable codes and standards.
• Skills necessary to model system performance or energy production based on site-specific design and commercially available modeling tools.
• Proficiency in CADD, XCELL, Google Earth and Google Sketch Up.
• Self starter with good time management skills to achieve project schedules and maintain the highest quality of engineered documents.
• Excellent communication skills and a team oriented approach to problem solving.
• Participation in industry groups preferred.
• Some travel required.
