1954 Eugene Ravizza bought Kucher Electric and renamed it Cupertino Electric, Inc.

1960 CEI completes the electrical work for Fairchild Semiconductor, one of the first semi fabrication facilities in Silicon Valley.

1960 Established early expertise in computerized job costing and tracking.

1964 Established Profit Sharing Plan that remains in existence today.

1965 CEI provides electrical infrastructure contracting to emerging computer, semiconductor, and software industries.

1978 Leveraged chip manufacturing expertise to biotechnology industry.

1985 Established Cupertino Electriconics, known as "Ceitronics", to specialize in communications systems.

1989 Acquired Collins Electric of San Francisco, now one of the largest and most successful contractors in San Francisco.

1996 Became a leading electrical contractor for ISPs and data centers.

1997 Formed Network Systems Group to focus on telecom/datacom market.

1998 Acquired Frank Electric, a San Jose based competitor.

1998 Became a leading electrical contractor for web hosting and ASPs.

1999 Received ISO 9001 Certification.

2000 Expanded the Board to include Bob Puette, ex President of Apple USA, Jim Rollans, ex-CFO of Fluor Corporation, Peter Stoneberg, ex Sr. Managing Director of Montgomery Securities, Roger Kafker, Partner at TA Associates and Ann Browning, Partner at BofA Capital Investors.

2000 Established employee stock option plan.

2001 Constructed NAP of the Americas in Miami for Terremark, the untouched gateway to South America.

2004 Integrated Frank Electric into CEI.

2004 Celebrated 50th anniversary of providing specialized electrical contracting services.

2005 Vice President receives Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification.

2005 Received Green Business certification, Santa Clara County, City of San Jose.

2005 Promoted James S. Ryley to Chairman of the Board and John Boncher to President/Chief Operating Officer.

2006 Received ISO 14001 Certification.

2007 Joined the U.S. Green Business Council (USGBC).

2007 Was recognized by the State of California Integrated Waste Management Board through their Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP).

2007 Established an Energy Alternatives Group, which completed installation of the largest corporate solar photovoltaic system in the U.S.
