 Cupertino Electric maintains an engineering staff of over thirty engineers; designers; draftsmen; and CAD operators, including USGBC LEED® Accredited Professionals. Our in-house engineering staff has a broad range of experience with Design Build and Design Assist projects. In-house design also allows Cupertino Electric, Inc. to integrate our design drawings with our construction coordination/detail drawing package.
Complete engineering support ensures that the final project design is constructed using the most cost-efficient installation techniques that satisfy all customer requirements.

The CEI Engineering Department is fully automated with computer aided drafting (CAD) equipment and software; utilizing the latest release of AutoCAD. We can interface drawings electronically with other members of the design team and with our HP Design Jet plotters. |

The engineering department is furnished with a complete catalog library which is updated continuously. We are also equipped with SKM CAPTOR and A-FAULT software programs for in-house short circuit / coordination studies. |

MEP coordination can be done on site in project trailers with direct access to field conditions, field personnel, and other trades. A fully functioning trailer can be equipped with drafting equipment, CAD stations, plotters, blueprint machines, and telecommunications services. |

The CEI network and communications backbone allows digital file transfer with customer, other designers, and our own people. |
