Cupertino Electric's Centennial Tower project in South San Francisco involved construction of a sculptural high-rise, mixed-use building that combined commercial office space with retail and parking garages. The 12-story office building consists of 333,967 square feet with 16,228 square feet of ground floor retail. In addition, the building houses a child care center and a community performing arts space.
In addition to the office building construction, Cupertino Electric also completed a design/build office tenant improvement project for SuccessFactors, the tower's largest tenant. The 90,000 square-foot project included renovation of the top three floors to open office space and conference rooms. The project also included a complex fire alarm and smoke control system due to accomodate a new interconnecting stairwell.
