AT&T Park PV
Cupertino Electric solar energy construction project for the San Francisco Giants AT&T Park in San Francisco, California
San Francisco, CA
123 kW DC
The Cupertino Electric-installed 123 kW DC-rated solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Oracle Park (known as AT&T Park at the time) consists of three distinct arrays employing custom-built and pre-engineered mounting systems to address unique architecture and supporting structures at the site. The design includes a roof-mounted system on the San Francisco Giants corporate office, a steel canopy above the Willie Mays Ramp and architectural shade structures along the McCovey Cove waterfront. The system also features a small array on the Center Field scoreboard 180 feet above field-level to increase awareness of PG&E’s campaign among the thousands of spectators who visit the park each week.
