Cupertino Electric data center design and construction project in Santa Clara, California
Santa Clara, CA
Two years after putting its 360,000 square-foot data center on hold, real estate investment trust company DuPont Fabros Technology (www.dft.com) re-engaged Cupertino Electric in 2010 to design and build a multi-phase data center in the heart of Silicon Valley. The project for one of the nation’s leading owners, developers, operators and managers of wholesale data centers features 176,200 square feet of raised floor engineered and constructed by Cupertino Electric in two phases for a total aggregate critical load of 36.4 Megawatts (MW). The first phase of the project was successfully completed in 2011.
