Project Summary
CEI is serving as the general/prime contractor and is installing roughly 430,000 solar panels to generate 252-megawatts (MW) direct curent (DC). Also being installed at the site are a substation and a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system. A 148 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) will also be added to the project. In summer of 2023, California's Governor Newsom visited the site to unveil green energy policies and discuss the merits of the project.
