Cupertino Electric's tenant improvement project for Alcon spanned 130,000 square feet over two buildings that include new office and lab space, a fitness and training center, cafeteria, full-service commercial kitchen and a data center. To supplement the robust nature of the electrical systems, Alcon added an emergency generator that will carry the full electrical load of the biotech facility in the event of an emergency. Alcon is owned by Novartis and specializes in eye-related issues.
