Expanding CEI's Data Center Division with New Office in Prineville, Oregon and Team Additions

Today, we announced two key milestones for Cupertino Electric's data center division: we've opened a new office in Prineville, Oregon and hired industry veteran Michael Coleman to help grow CEI's data center operations.

Despite the economic downturn, CEI's business has steadily grown in the last year. Since its inception, the data center division has accumulated more than five million square feet of data center floor design experience and has been nationally recognized for data center construction innovation.

While we have long engineered and constructed data centers in the Pacific Northwest for industry-leading clients, our new office enables us to extend our offerings for current and future data center customers who rely on us to meet their complex electrical needs.

Oregon's business climate, weather and abundant natural resources make Prineville a great location for our fifth office in the United States. We look forward to establishing an even greater connection with the local Prineville community.

Cupertino Electric's Data Center Division Builds Great Projects

The growth of Cupertino Electric and our established data center division is due in large part to the addition of new customers with complicated project needs throughout the United States. Most recently, we completed a three-month, fast-track, data center spanning 110,000 square-feet in San Antonio, Texas, for global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne.

The project was a huge success. We're proud to have the confidence of CyrusOne CEO Kevin Timmons, who recently said this about the project:

"The demand for high-availability colocation space continues to surge among the Fortune 1000 enterprises we serve. Speedy commissioning of our sites is essential for us to meet the just in time inventory demands and expectations of the C-suite decision-makers and IT management at these companies. Cupertino Electric met our aggressive timelines and accommodated our complicated specs at our San Antonio facility without sacrificing on quality."

Mike Coleman: Data Center Industry Veteran

As we continue to grow, I'm confident that Mike Coleman's expertise and leadership in data center design and construction will prove invaluable to our team. Mike has more than 23 years of engineering and construction experience, and for 10 of those years he has focused on Design/Build of mission critical facilities. In addition to a number of successful mission-critical projects for some of the world's largest software and technology companies, Mike brings modular data center experience and proven leadership skills to his role at CEI.

I look forward to our continued success in the data center market as we continue to serve customers in new and exciting ways.
