Since the launch of the new Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) website two years ago, we've set out to improve our web presence and build an information hub about CEI and the work we do. We've also increased CEI's prominence on the web through social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
Today, we continue that effort with the launch of Cupertino Electric's Corporate Blog. CEI's innovation-driven culture has attracted some of the engineering and construction industry's leading subject matter experts, and we're excited to be able to share some of their knowledge with you here.
Our first contributor is Senior Energy Strategist Steve Schumer, who will be blogging on energy trends and issues.
Steve has more than 40 years of combined fossil, nuclear, alternative and renewable power generation/distribution experience. In his current role at CEI, he develops financial and engineering models for alternative energy projects, oversees utility and regulatory relations and is responsible for project development. Steve has pioneered new methodology for reducing utility-scale photovoltaic system costs, while increasing power delivery and spent many years consulting with Fortune 500 companies on energy issues.
In the future, expect to see more contributing authors and expanded engineering and construction topics related to the diverse markets we serve. We'll also be sharing stories about some of our employees and the great things being done in the communities where we live and work.
