Cupertino Electric Ranked Highest Electrical Contractor on Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" List

Company a Top 20 Employer and the Highest-Ranked Electrical Contractor for Second Consecutive Year

San Jose, Calif.— April 29, 2010 — Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) today announced that the San Francisco Business Times and the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal named the electrical contracting company the fourteenth "Best Place to Work" in the San Francisco Bay Area among companies employing between 101 to 500 employees. The ranking cements the company's status as a top Bay Area employer and the highest-ranked electrical contractor on the list.

"We are delighted that Cupertino Electric is ranked higher than any other electrical contractor on the list for its close-knit culture and commitment to employees," said John Boncher, President and CEO of Cupertino Electric, Inc. "When we first participated in the program last year, we were excited to place among the top 20 companies. Having ranked even higher on this year's list in a down economy is a testament to our ability to stay true to our values and attract and retain great employees."

CEI moved up four places on the 2010 "Best Places to Work" list from its rank of eighteenth in 2009. The San Francisco Business Times and the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" list is compiled from the employee survey responses of 354 companies operating in 12 countries in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. The position a company earns on the list is based entirely on employee surveys ranking the company's culture, professional development, benefits and management practices.
